What a 2BHK interior actually costs in Bangalore

Published quotes for Bangalore interiors range from about ₹1,100 to ₹5,000 per square foot of cabinetry, depending on the board, the shutter finish and the hardware. This guide explains what moves the number, using public sources rather than our own rate card.

The short answer

There is no single price for a 2BHK interior in Bangalore, and anyone who gives you one over the phone is guessing. What decides it is scope, board grade, shutter finish and hardware — in that order. Published market rates for modular cabinetry sit roughly between ₹1,100 and ₹5,000 per square foot of cabinet face, which is a wide enough band to be nearly useless until you fix those four things.

Every figure below is from a public source, linked. None of them is a Cosyspaces rate. For a range built from your own rooms, use the cost estimate tool — it asks about ten questions and shows you a band, not a price.

What the public sources say

These are other people's published guides, gathered in September 2026. Treat them as sanity checks rather than quotes: several are marketing pages, and the specifications behind the numbers are rarely stated.

Notice how wide those bands are. That width is the real answer: the same kitchen, quoted honestly, can differ by a factor of two on specification alone.

What actually moves the number

Scope

Kitchen and wardrobes only, or the full home including ceiling, lighting, painting and furniture. This single decision changes a quotation more than any material choice, and it is the first thing to settle.

Board grade

Plywood grade is priced per sheet and applies to every unit in the home. Using the highest grade everywhere is money spent on a risk that is not there in a bedroom; using the lowest under a sink is a repair you have already booked. See plywood grades.

Shutter finish

Laminate, acrylic, PU or veneer — and whether the finish is uniform or mixed. Most sensible kitchens mix: the better finish above the counter where it is seen, the hard-wearing one below. See shutter finishes compared.

Hardware

The part you touch every day, and the first thing to fail when it is cheap. If a budget has to give, take the finish down a tier before the hardware. See hinges and drawer channels.

How to compare two quotations fairly

Two quotations that differ by lakhs usually differ in specification, not in profit. Line them up on:

  • the same scope, room by room;
  • the same board grade, stated per zone rather than as one blanket word;
  • the same shutter finish, with the decor codes written down;
  • the same hardware brand and tier, not just a brand name;
  • the same countertop material and thickness;
  • the same number of drawers, which cost more than shelves;
  • edge banding thickness, which is the cheapest corner to cut and the most visible one two years later.

If one quotation is silent on any of those, that is where the difference is.

What we will not tell you here

We do not publish our own rates, and we do not publish timelines, payment schedules or warranty periods as though they were the same for every home. They are not, and a page that pretends otherwise is selling you something. What you get from us instead is a free site measurement and an itemised quotation against an agreed scope — including, if you like, a line-by-line read of somebody else's quotation.

Planning your own?

A site visit is free and you get a written scope from it — useful even if you end up going elsewhere.
