About Cosyspaces — a founder-led studio in Belathur

Cosyspaces has been designing and delivering interiors since December 2016 — 9+ years and 350+ homes and spaces, across Bengaluru and in Tirupati, Chittoor, Hyderabad and Chennai. Everything is drawn, made to the approved drawing and installed under our supervision, with R. Jaya Kumar as the single point of contact on every project.

R. Jaya Kumar

Founder

R. Jaya Kumar is a civil engineer. Before starting Cosyspaces he worked on site with large Bengaluru developers, on projects where the finish schedule was measured in hundreds of units and a millimetre of tolerance was somebody's problem by Friday.

He started Cosyspaces in 2016, on a simple observation: the site discipline of a large developer and the care of a small studio almost never turn up in the same job. Large firms deliver on time and design to a template; small firms design beautifully and miss the dates.

Nine years later that is still the whole proposition. He takes the brief, he draws it, and he is the person who answers the phone in week six. Nothing is made until the drawing is agreed, and nothing is fitted until he has checked it against that drawing.

How we work

  • Say the real number

An itemised quote against an agreed scope, and an honest answer when something costs more than you hoped.

  • Measure, then build

Builder drawings and delivered flats differ. Everything is measured on site after possession.

  • Answer the phone

One point of contact from the first visit to the closed snag list.
